Ushbu dars o‘quvchilarga second conditional'ni mashq qilgan holda turli o'ylab topilgan vaziyatlarni o‘rganish imkonini beradi. Ular turli vaziyatlarda qanday yo‘l tutishlarini muhokama qiladilar, o‘z fikrlarini sinfdoshlari bilan solishtiradilar va qiziqarli jamoaviy o‘yinda ishtirok etadilar.

💭 What would you do if …?

This lesson gives students the chance to explore imaginary situations while practising the second conditional. They’ll discuss what they would do in different situations, compare their ideas with classmates and take part in a fun team game.

In this lesson, students will:

🔸 Learn and practise the second conditional

🔸 Talk about hypothetical situations and dilemmas

🔸 Ask and answer “What would you do if…?” questions

🔸 Compare their choices with classmates

🔸 Take part in a team game

The British Council, in partnership with the Ministry of Pre-School and School Education of the Republic of Uzbekistan, has launched the fifth phase of the School Champions project, welcoming 42 new schools to a growing national network.

School leaders and English teachers came together to explore Continuing Professional Development (CPD) that inspires professional learning and encourages teachers to take on personal responsibility for their professional growth. Each school champion will support teachers in developing individual CPD portfolios, lead peer-learning sessions and guide colleagues throughout the year.
Since 2023, 260 schools and more than 1,400 teachers have engaged in the project, delivering over 4,500 CPD activities.
The project is part of the British Council Accelerating English Language Learning in Central Asia programme, designed to respond to national English reform agendas, focusing on English teacher education and developing more inclusive education systems across the Central Asian region. It is funded by UK International Development from the UK Government.
